We've been cooking up a storm this 4OJ (York informed me it was cool to call it this). York started in the kitchen this morning...which means deliciousness to come but, huge mess. Then Ford got in on the action. My boys love to cook, my daughter, not so much. I don't mind usually, and can never complain when York wants to cook but, at the same time, I'm a little tired of cleaning the kitchen today.
One of Ford's favorite things to make is puppy chow or muddy buddies....we will eat it no matter what it is called.
Puppy Chow9 cups Corn Chex®, Rice Chex®, Wheat Chex® or Chocolate Chex® cereal (or combination)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Stir in vanilla. Pour over chex cereal and stir. Place in large bag with powdered sugar and shake until coated.
